Bucky checks the backpack, making sure they have everything before zipping it up and pulling it on.
He picks up the wrapped packed and hands it over to Steve, "Happy birthday Steve-o" He smiles easily in the wrapping are a fancy set of pencils and a new sketch book. "Open it before we get going." He says easily kissing Steve's cheek.
Steve unwrapped the gift and smiled. "It's perfect Buck," he says warmly,
"I'd just run out of paper to work with." He leans over and presses a
gentle kiss to his boyfriend's mouth.
"Pencils are supposed to be really nice too." He smiles easily against his lips, "Talked to the people at the art store, told me you'd been eyeing them." He brushes his fingers through Steve's hair.
"Are you ready to head to Cony Island?" It was their tradition, every year on Steve's birthday. "The others are meeting us later... Tony rented a section of beach or something." He says rolling his eyes a little but there is a fondness there now.
Steve rolls his eyes fondly and nods. "Ready," he says, "I really hope Tony
isn't going to make a big deal out of this. He knows how I feel about
flashy things."
"I told him to keep it in line." He smiles a little, "I think he just made sure that we had a section of beach for the fireworks tonight." He laughs a little.
"We're just gonna ride a few rides and eat some hotdogs, and have some fun." He says easily.
